I finished reading Compost Everything: The Good Guide to Extreme Composting by David the Good and also The Rodale Book of Composting by Deborah, L. Martin. I enjoyed them both but I am looking for a book or other literature that goes more into detail about what actually goes on inside composting, the science of how the soil breaks down and the microbiota inside a compost heap.
